Anybody offer some insite on this? Pay Per Click - PPC traffic scares me a little bit. Especially since I am using sponsors and not my own paysite.

Over the past year I have slowly moved more into the PPC arena. I am no expert but my ROI is always in the + column.

A few key things to remember is to really narrow down your keywords to what you are offering on your site. I don't have much luck with general terms like "sex" or "porn" unless I am running a campaign for a join4free type program. Take your time and be very specific.

Its also important to remember that the highest bid may not always be the best for you. You can burn through funds fast as hell. You need to really tweak the traffic. What does the site you are promoting usualy convert at.. what is the pay out etc. Figure that in with the keyword cost. If the site converts at 1-400 and pays 25 per join. You know you don't want to bid anymore then .05 cents per bid. I am sure you get the idea.

You will have to spend some money to find your groove. You will also have to try difft. PPC engines. Some work better then others depending on where there results are shown.

A minimum $.05/click for gallery and landing page traffic seems a bit steep considering I only pay $.02-$.03 for a lot of my keywords on PPC search engines. Can someon who is currently paying for these clicks post a comment or two?

I'm always looking for new places to pull clicks from but I'd rather not just piss $100 down a black hole.

I agree, would like to see some references/recommendations this PPC traffic is like. PPC SE's are pretty low cost but it would be nice to get more traffic as well.

Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
