OpenSRS, eNom or ?????

I currently have a lot of domains and I plan to register a little over a hundred more shortly....

Has anyone used OpenSRS or eNom (as a "reseller") or whoever else is in that same arena?

What are their prices?

I think enom's are $5.99 per domain?

nice.

Can you manage all your domains their though? Or do you have to log in, one domain at a time.

Ie.. if I ever wanted to change nameservers, would I have to do it one at a time, or could I log in to my account & change them all in one big sweep?

i've bought domains before with someone that resold through tucows/opensrs.

i'd say as far as reliability and such, opensrs is pretty good. i know the guys i bought from, they seem to like opensrs pretty well. might consider it. it is a little more expensive than godaddy tho. if i were reselling domains, tho, i'd probably go thro them.

you can get a reseller account with godaddy as well..

Enom's $5.99 is for their "name only" registrations, which means you can't use the names, they just park the DNS on enom...to use it you gotta pay more. Their normal reseller price is $6.95.

RackShack's price is a loss-leader to get your business, and they're going to jack the rate when it's time to renew. They say in their FAQ that they don't offer bulk registration tools, and I'm guessing they'll make it a pain in the ass to move your names elsewhere in the future. But if saving a couple hunred bucks is worth the potential pain in your ass, it's the cheapest deal going.

Dotregistrar is $6.49 if you buy names by the thousand, but isn't so good for smaller quantities.

Opensrs has some excellent resellers, and some shitty resellers, but the pricing is typically higher. I don't remember what price opensrs charges to resellers, but I think it's $8 a year or something, so you don't see competitive bulk pricing from resellers. With registrars licensed directly with ICANN, I think their base cost is $6 a year, which is why the bulk price doesn't go below that except as a money-losing sales gimmick.

Just checked godaddy's pricing, they're down to $6.95 in quantity 200+. I'm not sure of their reseller prices, but probably the same.

I heard on SEGuru's radio show that Fabulous.com offers $8 domains if you email them and tell them you are going to be doing bulk purchases. I used them and their domain management interface is the best out there.

We manage about a thousand domains through an opensrs reseller account. Its a bit more costly than some options but we're very happy with opensrs.
