how to import *.mbx and *.dbx files?
geez lately GFY has been my tech support, I installed XP for someon (formatted their stupid Win 95 machine, yes, 95) how the fuck do I import the stupid emails it keeps giving me an error?

no, the mbx and dbx files are on cd now, and t's giving me some bullshit error that almsot caused me to throw that piece of shit out the 2nd floor of my house

Try to simply overwrite the new dbx and mbx files with the old ones (I did that lots of times BUT with the same version of outlook and windows, never with different OS).
Go to tools/options/maintenance, and click on the "store folder" button, see where the current files are, go there and paste the files from your backup cd into that folder, over the existing files. Worked for me, but if you get into some troubles don't blame me ![]()
