i don't like the new cast at all, its not the same since Will left. i do find it kind of funny that kenan from kenan and kel is on the cast, that old nickelodean show.

I agree! Justin was surprisingly very funny. I thought he was going to totally suck. He made me laugh a few times. He was defiantly better than Britney.

But I have to say SNL has not been good for a while now.

snl has sucked for years... i think the worst started when colin quinn started doing weekend update... before that it was tolerable, but still not great like in the heyday of carvey, hartman, farley, nealon, meyers, sandler, spade, and schneider

I couldnt beleive how bad the show has become... Im surprised NBC hasnt taken it off the air to "regroup and recast" because it sucks !!! 4 years of not watching it live and it became shit... what happened to celebrity jeapordy ?

and they tried copying old skits from like 10 years ago.. unfortuantely the new guys arent funny like the ones b4 were

Tonight's episode was weak all around (intro, skits, update, live act). They resorted to doing a bunch of fake commercials, even in skit form, which were highly derivative. Berry was wasted, and Spears looked foolish trying to sing her last song (the first was a standard dance/lip-sync nonsense). They even repeated the exact same black-girl jokes from the Jack Black episode. Everyone keeps waiting for Horatio Sanz to kick it up and take the lead, but he has stalled out. Tina Fey is about the only one who makes me occasionally laugh.

SNL has always gone in waves.

The Falconer shit is very very stupid. The music guests have been crap... their music isn't entertaining. Britney shouldn't even bother singing anymore. All her songs are voice altered and have absolutely no meaning. She was a wannabe Madonna tonight. She should just stick to pretending to be innocent, until she's finally in Playboy. (Every year she reveals a little bit more, unfortunately it's not always what she was born with) Then she can retire.

When I was little, I used to watch the classic SNL episodes on Nick @ Nite. The ones with Gilda Radner etc. I think the guest hosts and music acts they have are what has made it not as entertaining. Seems like all the present day celebs are mundane and typical.

You know they are desperate when they do shit like that...kinda like back in the day when they brought on Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Michale Hall.

You can't tell me out of the 1,000's of comics out there...and out of the hundreds who attend The Groundlings, or any of the numerous Second City Comedy classes they couldn't find someone better than that talentless kid Kenan.
