Ideal price point??

What is the consensus on paysite price point. Site is currently 6000 pics of "average girls" and 10 hours so far of video, not porno stars or the typical amateur cam girls, updated 2 times weekly, but whats the pro's and con's on price point. Is 10.00 to low? And NO I dont have the Traffic Lens has so fuck off in that respect. Thinking like a surfer is 15 or 20 that much better than 29 or 39? Just tryin to get a feeling on this.

Why don't you just experiment and change the price until you get hit the sweet spot? I know of a lot of sites that tweek the prices until the conversion is just perfect.

$10 isn't necessarily too low, but you have to keep in mind that the 10 dollar price isn't to get "more" signups, it's simply to bypass the knee jerk reaction of the surfer to issue a chargeback... a buyer's remorse reaction. In effect it's to comply with the new 1% VISA chargeback regulations. Nobody in their right mind would charge back $10, but it's not to get MORE signups necessarily.

It depends on what you offer on the inside.

how does it work when you change prices?
do the current members pay the old price or the new price per month?

$10 is only too low if it's not profitable enough to make it worth your time. If you have 100 members at $10 each and you think $1,000/month is enough for the work you put into it, than there isn't a problem.

However, maybe you could be squeezing more out og them at $12.99 or $14.99. The only way you'll ever know for sure is to mess with your prices. I would suggest creating four different join pages at four different prices and split your traffic among them. After each one has gotten, say, 1,000-3,000 (use a larger sample if you have more traffic) join hits you should have a pretty good idea.

I'm not exactly sure, but I know it's a very simple process. You could require them to pay more next month, or keep them on the same price schedule.
