$10,000,000/yr. gives you enough resources to get into some big league games, that's for sure.

You can always go up, but that is a major milestone...if you reach it in NET.

Take that back, I can think of about 10 when you include processors.... But many companies have partners, so money is split 2x-5x.

If I had a partner, I would be living in a trailer.

I thought the magic number was 50 million...

Gekko: I'm talking liquid. Enough money to have your own jet. Enough money not to waste time. Fifty, one hundred million dollars. A player.

Yeah, if a partner isn't producing..they're just a drag on everything. And that sucks.

Drinking Hard hit the nail on the head with liquid money, cause you can have 10 million net that is tied up in investments / properities that cant just be used.

$10 million liquid makes your game tight.

True sign of a player is can you money last at least 3 generations of your family after you

well...if your liguid net worth is 10 mill you can invest that in real estate for a bit then pull out the equity and you are now controlling around 18 mill...now if you're smart that could be turned into 40 mill in 10 years time

I've never understood the concept of wanting to retire.

How could anyone give up the thrill and rush of dealmaking and just go play golf and sit in the sun everyday.

I tried it with a more leisurely lifestyle of semi-retirement back in my 30's, going golfing everyday and couldn't deal with it at all. Sold my Pings and went back to the game of dealz.

I want to die while working, contributing, and being productive and not sitting in a lounge chair in Tahiti.

10 mil net worth used to be really cool as even at 5% you could pull in 1/2 a mil a year but today that is not so easy to achieve.
Still 10 mil puts you in pretty good company and stastically you are golden at that point.

Then that is what you should be doing. Find a way to make it happen. Don't end up on your deathbed wondering what could have been.

Yea right then you would have already retired if you wanted to.
so your going to net 5 mil in one year. No way

so you have 5 mil cash sitting in an acount. then your doing better then the top sponsors and owners of the top processors.

And if that were the case you wouldn't brag about it on gfy.
I bet you might have 500k in the bank at the most

blow smoke up some newbie's

so your going to net 5 mil in one year. No way so you have 5 mil cash sitting in an acount. then your doing better then the top sponsors and owners of the top processors. And if that were the case you wouldn't brag about it on gfy. I bet you might have 500k in the bank at the most blow smoke up some newbie's
A wise man once said that it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

My friend, you obviously do not know any top processors, owners or sponsors (of which I do not consider myself to be either).

There are guys who post on this board that could buy and sell a few 5 million a year operators.

Yet again, there are a couple who do NOT post on boards who may well be able to buy and sell a couple of those guys that do.

Money is not what money is, it's what money does.

I think you have to net $100,000 a day to consider yourself a player. The entrance to player status has reached new levels over the last 5 years.

You aren't paying attention to the people in the know, Roger.....the top sponsors (and worse) certain processors don't have 5 mil laying around.....

Methinks someone isn't invited to some people's houses.....quite the playa....
