$10,000,000/yr. gives you enough resources to get into some big league games, that's for sure.

You can always go up, but that is a major milestone...if you reach it in NET.

Take that back, I can think of about 10 when you include processors.... But many companies have partners, so money is split 2x-5x.

If I had a partner, I would be living in a trailer.

well...if your liguid net worth is 10 mill you can invest that in real estate for a bit then pull out the equity and you are now controlling around 18 mill...now if you're smart that could be turned into 40 mill in 10 years time

I've never understood the concept of wanting to retire.

How could anyone give up the thrill and rush of dealmaking and just go play golf and sit in the sun everyday.

I tried it with a more leisurely lifestyle of semi-retirement back in my 30's, going golfing everyday and couldn't deal with it at all. Sold my Pings and went back to the game of dealz.

I want to die while working, contributing, and being productive and not sitting in a lounge chair in Tahiti.

if i had the time/money i would attempt to become a pro golfer or bowler truth be told.

10 mil net worth used to be really cool as even at 5% you could pull in 1/2 a mil a year but today that is not so easy to achieve.
Still 10 mil puts you in pretty good company and stastically you are golden at that point.

Then that is what you should be doing. Find a way to make it happen. Don't end up on your deathbed wondering what could have been.

I would say a true player is someone who is making about a million a month.. someone who is rich i would define as making a million a year.. but not neccasarilly a true player
