![]() Heres the scoop;
Its been 3 days im having FTP upload HELL. I contacted my host serveral times, they did the best they could, they even changed my FTP server. Still Its HELL to up load, fucking slow to connect fucking slow to upload. Fucking nightmare!! Here at the office we tested and re-tested diifernt FTP clients differnt firewall(off, on, medium) settings, differnt ISP's. Nothing changes, still slow. We have 3 computer here, the only thing they have in common is windows XP pro and I personally do the windows updates when prompted. Could it be that the last windows update I did ( to all 3 PC's) restricts FTP access? It the only thing I can think of. Fucking updates, your fucked if you do them, your fucked if you dont.

Reformat one of the machines so it doesn't include the update you did. If that machine works fine uploading then you know for sure it was the windows update.

Ray go to controll panel and select remove/add programs and see if you can see any windows updates there. Hopefully xp allows this so if it still gives hassles just remove the latest update you did

Yes, you can reset the computer back to exactly how it was on any given date. |

Just do a system restore to a time BEFORE you did the update. I've had this happen before and I always set a restore point BEFORE I do a Windows update. Most of the problems come from driver updates for me.
