We are a small company and do not use memberships nor recurring billing - but we do use proBilling for payments. We have been very happy with their service thus far.

Do you like beer?
Then why drink "nearbeer"?

Sorta like what it's like in the proecessing biz these days.
Might as well go with the ones that actually perform as promised.

PROBILLING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

lol, check this out.... I wanted to sign up for an affiliate prog some site had and had to use them. I was having problems doing it - so I called their service peep. I told the guy I had a question about their affiliate program and he said "whats that?" turns out he was some jack off night person, had no fucking clue. So I called back during the daytime... the guy I got still had no fucking clue as to where shit was - he just told me to keep clicking around till I found what I was looking for.

fucking tards.

Get a real company - ccbill or something.

I have found Probilling to be the most professional and responsive of the major billers out there.

Most if not all negative comments on a board like this come from webmasters that have breached the chargeback limits and had their accounts restricted or cut off for some reason and are never going to get over it

Overall I can recommend Probilling without hesitation

I have developed my own affiliate program using probilling. Complete with rebill tracking and unique username checking.

I think another webmaster said it best about them in a previous post about Probilling..........

he said they are 3 ppl. in a basement in Calgary.

i talked to them about their program and the best they could come up with is they are backed by a big gambling site.......

gee, how reassuring.

everytime they are presented with hard questions from webmasters on this board, they hide........plus they are temporarily avoiding the VISA fees.......but you know from experience that will bite them, and you, if you use them, in the ass

this is October, 2003?

fat chance they around October, 2004...........good luck.......

so why waste your time with such a company.......you'll only lose the rebills you build up

Probilling are not, least as far as I ever knew them, "backed by a big gambling site".

The CEO is a Canadian lawyer and they don't have a basement in Calgary, but have offices there, in the UK and several other countries.

Their main activity seem to be related to ... whatever it is called.. a cash payment system which seems to be used mainly for gambling payments.

proBilling are an element in a range of a few processors - I would not rely *ever* on any one processor since it is the actual processor who "owns" the recurring billing. It is wise to spread that risk.

I would avoid probilling, just b/c they dodge basic questions on this board related to visa/mastercard and European billing questions by simply ignoring the posts and replying to the people who say they rock.

I'd like to use their service, especially their check product......but it's exactly this point that makes me really leery of them.

My point exactly Zoink............they run like scurrying cockroaches when asked these basic billing questions..........what kind of an outfit can't even face the music as basic as this?

Like I said B4, they won't be around much longer........

should start a Probilling Tits Up Pool.........I say death before Summer of '04
