Are you saying that a major ISP is sensoring access to certain IPs? If so, that is super fucked up... ![]() |

Check the hosts file of the computers you are trying to access the sites from.

Odds are someone hijacked your hosts file. And its probably on all of your friends computers because you guys unknowingly passed around whatever the URL was that hijacked the file. |

		 Hello,

Charter Communications is not filtering ISPrime. We had one client that managed to get his sites filtered from his cable modem. This client was able to reach any other sites on ISPrime's network though. There are no current filters across our entire network though. Please, if any ISPrime customers are having trouble reaching their sites on our network, please contact [email protected], or our Network Operations ICQ at 136633378.

Hello Charter Communications, My name is Doug, I'm a network administrator at ISPrime.com. We're a colocation facility inside NYIIX in NYC. We have an important customer whom is trying to reach our network from X(removed), and he has informed us he's unable to reach our network. We've had him run traceroutes to our main public webserver, www.isprime.com, and they all stop inside your network. It's obviously a problem, and I've CC'd him, as well as our internal support team on this email. Could you please ask someone in Engineering to take a look at this please? It's been persisting for more than three days now, and there's really no reason for it. I look forward to hearing back from you, and I'm sure our client does too. Please CC him on any responces so he's kept in the loop too. Best regards, --- Douglas Boldt ISPrime, Inc. 866-502-4678 x3 ICQ: 136633378 |

Charter is filtering YOU, not "charter customers". Doug was kind enough to contact Charter on your behalf, however there is nothing really Charter can do for us, as this is an issue between you and Charter, and as I recommended originally, please contact Charter to resolve this block. I've spoken to several other customers with Charter who have no problem reaching our network.
