The "MAJORITY" in ANY country or case generally ARE morons :) In nations the entire world over, generally relatively few are informed or educated beyond the average :) And even fewer think for themselves. In this statement, I agree with you wholeheartedly Fletch, and not just about Americans, about Canadians, Europeans, Chinese, you name it. There ARE no exceptions.

The thing is, they are a real minority.

I have NO BEEF with America. My mother is American. Many people I love and care about are American. I think it's a DAMN fucking shame that ONE person, like George Bush, could decieve people, or have his own vendetta or agenda, especially when the people I care about have to pay for his little pisser out of their own pockets. Canada isn't perfect either, I'm just grateful our leader is mediocre, and doesn't have a point to prove.

You should try swallowing it amongst others like in this thread.

WASHINGTON ? The recording industry says it has settled 52 of the 261 suits it filed against Internet users accused of illegally permitted others to download music from their computers.

The Recording Industry Association of America, which plans to file hundreds more lawsuits in October, did not specify how much it collected from the settlements it announced on Monday.

Defense lawyers familiar with some cases said payments ranged from $2,500 (U.S.) to $7,500 each, with at least one settlement for as much as $10,000.
