There's a whole bunch of you on this board that are going to be trying to vote Bush back in.

That's a given.

So what are your reasons?

If you're on this board, chances are you're in porn. Well, with Ashcroft and the rest of his cronies in high positions of power, they really don't like porn - destroys the moral fibre of the country and all that, so first of all that could be your livelihood in jeopardy.

Well, that's just one reason why it could well be financially dangerous if Bush is voted back in.

I'm sure I could think of many more reasons.

Anyway, I know you're going to vote for him - so educate me.

This is true to some extent but regardless of the administration the economy will go through its cycles, a truly great administration will be able to lessen the blows of economic crisis. Beyond that it could help to stabilize the nation, by attacking real issues that are never going to go away without work, such as poverty, healthcare, education. I mean regardless of the international issues that this administration has gotten itself involved in, since those are quite complicated matters, what has the Bush administration actually done oh the home front? Has poverty decreasd, has healthcare coverage increased, has education increased?

I just dont think many of the democrat policies are american and what this country was founded on. Its just a philosophical difference. Any democrat that gets in will just slash the millitary,fbi,cia , try to create a bunch of ineficient socailistic programs, and create a bunch of 6 dollar jobs to create the illusion that things are so good, and bury the head in the sand when it comes to any foreign issue. I think we are at a time where we need a man of action. Clinton just rode out a phantom economy for 8 years and buried his head in the sand when it came to anything else. We dont need someone that bases every decision and decision not to act , on popularity polls.

Clinton took a while to pull us out of the hole we were in. Now we're in a deeper hole in a shorter time span. What foreign issues was his head in the sand on? Apparently the current Republican has zero foreign policy except for severing ties with all other countries out there. I used to pride myself on being non-partisan and voting for who I think is best rather than what party they belong to. But come 2004 I will go against that. But hey, Bush fans.. look on the bright side! If Dubya wins in 2004 it'll be his first presidential election won.
