Rackspace.net

Has anyone ever used them for co-location or anything else? I'm on their site looking around for a 3rd datacenter to use and this popup chat thingy comes up. I ask the guy about specials. He tells me for $195/month, they can give me a server with 30 GIGS OF BANDWIDTH! I was like WTF.... I laughed at him and asked if he was serious. He says that was CHEAP for Rackspace. OMG! Rackspace.... This is for you!

Think that's bad? When I was on their site a few weeks ago, the sales chick on the popup thingy didn't even know what their bandwidth cost... said I needed to call the unix tech for that.

rackspace is good, but very expensive.

Just take ISPrime. Not too expensive, and absolutely the best

I use rackspace, going on 4 years now. They're very expensive but absolutely worth it if your sites are mission critical. I can't afford for my sites to be down when search engines spider my sites so I'm willing to pay a lot for my hosting.

They're definitely not a host for a TGP or galleries, more so for paysites and critical applications.

I used RackSpace for well over a year and I loved their service. The only problem is bandwidth is very, very expensive ($3/GB) which forced me to move once my usage went over 500 GB a month.

I recommend Jupiter Hosting. They rock.
