We got new cars when we turned 16 (my family was SO dumb, lol!) I had a 1979 Celica. It was blue and I ended up putting 160K miles on it before it finally died 7 years later. I never changed the oil and only replaced the brakes and tires when they were destroyed. I loved that car, but it taught me to buy MY son a 10 year old car when he turned 16. :thumbsup

I had an 88 Jeep Cherokee-Laredo.

1981 Buick Skylark with no air condidtioning. It leaked oil that started smoking on the engine at the stoplight. That didn't matter because it still got me to any girls house I wanted no matter how far so I loved it! |
