Well in Australia a pair of LEVI will cost over $100 where a pair cut same made in asia will cost $30 that is why.

When they shut down a plant in northern Texas a few years back, Levi Strauss showed a lot of class. They gave all of their employees enough money to purchase a computer and enough money to either get an associates degree or start a business.

Truth is there is a war going on in the world - and it's got little to do with Iraq - tho that helped it escalate one hell of a load. Likely not... one of the "benefits" of the Chinese free trade area, is that manufacturers are allowed to label goods as "made in USA".
