He's a jackass, but I don't think he's as stupid as he pretends to be. Being a moron is a pretty good excuse to have invaded a country with a bunch of false repots and no real reason. It's also a good excuse to lie about his tax cut going to the bottom half. "Leave him along, he doesn't know it's a lie, he's stupid" seems to be everyone's attitude.
