Hey I have been looking for an effective way of geo targeting foreign traffic and I found out these ones
www.georedirect.com www.geo-redirect.com any experiences? Or should I stick to easy j a v a s c r i p t ?

I highly recommend http://www.ip-sorter.com/ We use it on two of our servers.
You can't geo-target thru js. You can sort by language, but not by country.

at http://www.sex.com we use both GEO IP and language browsers. Seems to convert the best, but would like to hear other ideas...... See http://www.Germany.sex.com, http://France.Sex.Com, etc.

gateway69 - quick question - Can your system be set up so that ALL traffic from a certain country is redirected, regardless of what webpage they go to on my domain...or can only traffic to a specified gateway page be redirected.
If only a specified gateway can be redirected, then can several gateway pages be entered into the program? Thanks |

I read somewhere that some company had the patent (or patent pending) for redirecting surfers based on IP..

dont buy anything called Geo Redirect PRO. some fuck head took what we had, and we had them shut down on a host but they moved, the guy is in china didnt know what he was doing wrong. its still the same shit deal and I wouldnt deal with anyone who rips off someon elses software/web site ..
