What amazing engineering and minds it takes to create, manufacture, and configure with such micron sized pathways and precise detail so the motherboards work perfectly and can perform such a vast multitude of incredible tasks.

It really is a mind blower when you think about it. Especially with all the different types of peripherals that get attached to them.

Thank God there are super geniuses out there that know how to design this shit.

If you read the book "Hackers" by Levy, it really looks into how PC's like this were made by guys at home -- etching the boards by hand in the basement... They had a club where they would share peripherals and their latest creations... one cool part of the book talks about how the person's personality would start to take shape in their circuit designs... I agree it's really amazing...
