Dead Kennedys I Kill Children lyrics

I kill children
I love to see them die
I kill children
And make their mamas cry
Crush 'em under my car
I wanna hear them scream
Feed 'em poison candy
To spoil their Halloween
So you're in the kids' ward
You're in there cos you're ill
How about some Pavulon
So I can see you chill
Time to hit the school bus
I think I'll shoot the tires
Offer them a helping hand
Of open telephone wires
Ever wanted to die?
Of course you have
But I won't till I get my revenge
I don't wanna see people any more
Things I never ever saw before
Make me see them for the shit they are
Take as many as I can away with me
Anyone can be king for a day
So I kill children
I love to see them die
I kill children And make their mamas cry
I bang their heads in doors

I kill children
Can hardly wait for yours...

Fuckin' A!

American punk rock is the best, and Japanese punk rock comes in second. Aussies actually produced some of the best punk rock bands of all time, in the late 70s and early 80s...like the saints and radio birdman. So they come in third.

Here's a good american punk rock song, I play drums in this band:

hmm... don't know how often I had this discussion...

Damn! Punk is a feeling, it's a way of life. I don't care who was first or what's "original" punk.

Why should I care what a UK punk band in the late 70's or early 80's had to say? When I listen to these bands, then just because I like their music but not because of the "punk" feeling.

There are many punk bands out there and I listen to them if they have something important to say (or simply make some enjoyable fun punk)

I I really don't fucking care if it's the NY, LA, London or Berlin punk scene. Punk is not a competition

Just my

I'm a huge Bad Religion fan! I first saw them in 1989 on the "No Control" tour in a tiny Elks Lodge type of dive in Schenectady, NY. I really like the last CD (The Process of Belief) that they recorded when they reunited with Brett G. too.

I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES, AND SAW THEM 6 TIMES LAST WEEK! THEY ENDED THEIR TOUR ON SUNDAY PLAYING A UCLA STUDENT ONLY SHOW WHERE THEY ANNOUNCED THEY WERE GOING INTO THE STUDIO TO RECORD THEIR NEW RECORD WHICH WILL BE OUT SOMETIME IN MAY 2004. AND ANOTHER NORTH AMERICAN TOUR TO FOLLOW AS WELL.

Some of today's stuff totally rocks and I feel it in the core of my bones when I go to a gig but there was just something awseome about punk having that real effect.

Now you're talking about my "good old days".

Portland in the early '80s: Poison Idea, The Wipers, The Neo Boys, Sado Nation, The Cleavers, The Bop Zombies, The Rats (later Dead Moon!), Smegma, The Braphsmears, Suburban Guerillas, The Miracle Workers... Clockwork Joes, Urban Noise, The Met, Euphoria Tavern, Earth Tavern, 13th Precinct, House of Toast, The Farm... Olde English in quart bottles (this is the pre-40oz era)... Singles Going Steady... It was a fun time to be young and running wild.

Punks today are probably no lamer than we were back in the day. The kid's are alright. I don't think any of us were born punk

I'm kind of surprised that kids still think punk is cool. I kind of wonder if I'd be drawn to punk if were 18 years old today, or if I'd be into the electronica stuff and raves or whatever.

that were good or that changed things? As far as changed things go, the Pistols were poster boys for a whole scene - or maybe better said as a social movement. Some of the bettter of which included:

The Stranglers
The Slits
Soiux and The Banshees
Buzzcocks (manchester scene)
The Clash
Ian Durry
The Vibrators
Stiff little fingers (irish)
The Undertones (irish)
The adverts
Sham 69
UK Subs
Skids
The Dammed - I get wet just thinking about Jet Boy, Jet Girl (and yes, I do know what the lyrics are about)...it is that good to my ears. They were also the first British punk group to tour the states..a fact that seriously pissed off Malcom

Don't get me wrong, there are pleanty of US punk bands - both old and new that I love but come on that list alone is enough to have a life long play list.

Nearly every band I currently listen to or I loved in the 80's were influenced by one of those above bands. Best of all, I know for sure that the country I live in at the moment is a different country now then it was before those bands played and it isn't just a matter of chance..they forced it through.

Boston had a rocking hardcore scene in the early 80's. My buddy's band The Prolitariet rock.

V/A- "This is Boston, Not LA" LP
http://www.punkfix.net/reviews/thisisbostonnotla.html

By Ryan August

"This is Boston, Not LA" has been a long time staple on every hardcore collectors' want list. The LP is long out of print, and chances are, this thing will never see a vinyl pressing again.

Originally, released in 1982 on Modern Method Records, "This is Boston, Not LA" was a statement of sorts. In the early 80's, it seemed as if punk bands across the country were turning their focus towards California, Los Angeles to be exact. The Germs, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Social Distortion were making LA a hotbed of hardcore punk, and the underappreciated Boston scene had enough of it. "This is Boston, Not LA" was their response, and it gave out one hell of a lashing.

Seven Boston punk bands united together to put out a soon to be legendary compilation album- Jerry's Kids, Gang Green, The F.U.'s, the Freeze, the Proletariat, Decadence and the Groinoids. As far as early 80's hardcore goes, you couldn't do much better than this line-up.

The Jerry's Kids and FU's material serves as a good building block for their blistering LPs. But, Gang Green and the Freeze are raging at their peaks on this one. The Proletariat stand out as the odd balls on the comp. sticking to an arty, British punk vibe with a leftist political stance, and Decadence and Groinoid prove to be the weakest links delivering only one song a piece.

Luckily, for all those who don't want to dish out the cash for the vinyl, Newbury Comics finally released this compilation on Cd a few years ago.

Track listing...
JERRY'S KIDS "Straight Jacket", "Uncontrollable", "Wired", "Desperate", Pressure", "I Don't Wanna"
THE PROLETARIAT "Options", "Religion Is the Opium of the Masses", "Allegiance"
THE GROINOIDS "Angel"
THE F.U.'S "Preskool Dropouts", "Radio UNIX U.S.A.", "Green Beret", "Time Is Money"
GANG GREEN "Snob", "Lie Lie", "I Don't Care", "Rabies", "Narrow Mind", "Kill a Commie", "Have Fun"
DECADENCE "Slam"
THE FREEZE "Broken Bones", "Idiots at Happy Hour", "Now or Never", "Sacrifice Not Suicide", "It's Only Alcohol", "Trouble If You Hide", "Time Bomb", "Boston Not L.A."
