How much does a charge back hurt
I recently signed up for some hosting and the host hasn't set up my account, won't answer emails or icq (like an idiot I changed the dns so at the moment my site is nowhere). I paid with visa and am thinking of charging it back... how much will a charge back hurt the host and more importantly my card!

Have you tried calling them? Did you give them an email account on the domain you had them set up?? If so then that's probably why their Welcime email is not getting to you. Try sending them an alternate email address as well.
The chargeback won't really hurt you unless you do this frequently in which case your bank will stop sending you new cards. However I suggest you read the terms of service regarding chargebacks to see what the host may do to you. |
