I like all HBO original programming so I know it will be good. These first two shows were really set up i guess. There's lots of secrets and things to be revealed I know.

I don't have HBO but my girl likes it. I watched it at her house tonight. It seemed gay at first but it's pretty sick how addicting it is. Really great once you get into it.

Interesting, artsy but s l o w . . .

The pedo stuff was nasty. I hope the pacing isn't constantly south of molasses. The short dude is a terrible actor, but I guess the pool of talent is "small."

Here's some info on it here. It's a little weird, but it's good.

It got some pretty bad reviews but I must it's a damn good show so far.

Very well produced with remarkable detail to the time period.

Looks like HBO might have a new winner.

I like it..BUT..I hope it doesn't become "The Return of Twin Peaks" where everything gets so damn weird you don't have a clue as to what is going on.

I think Twin Peaks could have been damn good television, but it's like the writers all dropped acid at the same time and wrote the scripts for the final shows (final as in it got them cancelled).

I'm hooked on the HBO stuff, especially the Sopranos and OZ.

Too bad after 6 years.
It came to an end.

I love Carnivale. There are some great character actors in this series (Clancy Brown, John Savage) along with some hotties (Adrienne Barbeau and the twins). There are also the strange dreams of Ben and the priest as well as each using their supernatural powers. However, which one is good and which one is evil is still up in the air.

The fact that it takes place in 1934 is cool too

That was the red hat with a name on it, that the bear was wearing in the trenches, in his dream.
