Ok, for democrats - who do you like more so far.

For the staunch repulicans - would either one of these two persuade you to vote for one of them in the general election?

I've been a dean supporter, but I'm oddly drawn to clark. So, i'm actually torn between the two. I think the debates will definitely make the difference for me.

I do not know if you read a post that I made this morning...but General Clark is already the front runner and it has only been three days since he declared.

No I'm sorry I missed your thread. But I did see in the news today though. Though in a seperate poll done at the same time - people would vote 35% for hillary with others well behind. So, I don't put a lot into the polls at this early stage.

As for the topic, I would say clark is the lesser of two evils. Dean comes off too much as a know-it-all ass.

Met them both. Dean's supernice, extrememly quick witted in regular conversation, and smart as hell. What he did as gov. was pretty cool, it'd be nice to have that sort of healthcare system.

But he needs to "tone down" his public image. As guy with "no neck" and the way he's always so stern looking, he looks and sounds like a VERY angry man all the time that tends frankly to scare away voters.

Dean is the Commie. The king of social programs and egalitarianism. I live near Vermont and I heard about Act 60 every damned day of the week for a year. Essentially, Act 60 established a statewide property tax with an income sensitivity provision. Imagine, you're paying $300 a year in taxes on your summer home, then the next year you have a $3,000 bill.
