Just so you know, timestamps and IPs won't save you once you get spamcop et al. on your ass.

Mojomail was always pretty good for a free script. Double opt in but I can't remember if it stores timestamp and IP or not.

The only thing I could think of is to go bulletproof and I wasn't making enough money to justify that. If you can get enough emails to make it worth it, that might be the way to go. Maybe there is a regular host someplace that is willing/able to help but I couldn't find one.

If you're honouring remove requests I don't see why you should have a problem with IP and timestamps.

using that allready but with all these spamcop horror stories and hosts terminating you I just want some backup in case they shut everything down. 10K mails and no complaints yet let's hope I can keep it that way
