Is Ibill THAT bad ?
I have a European corporation. ( I am canadian )
I have 1 site using CCBill. Everything is great. I am launching a new site but I want to use a different CC processor. ( Don't want to put all my eggs in the same basket ) Epoch: They simply don't answer. It has been 1 week now since I submitted. Jettis: Poor customer service until now. All the process seems to be taking forever. Ibill: I heard very bad things about them... Is anybody using them satisfied with thtem ? There are not many CC processors remaining. That is very bad for us. And I surely don't want to process with Probilling, Verotel and others... So... Is Ibill that bad ? |

I've been using them for over 3 years. ALWAYS got paid, and on time. Their support lately seems to not be good though.

The worst customer support imaginable. Absolutely heinous. You'll regret it.
Verotel's a good alternative. |

IBill is great if you don't need your hand held or you do significant volume. If you're new and have lots of questions and little volume, you're probably better off at CCBill.

I would strongly advice against using IBill. I have used them from 1997-2002 when within 24 hours and without any notification they froze payouts and kept billing my customers in addition to not paying me. IBill does only care for IBill and you as a customer are satisfied as long as you keep your mouth shut and don't ever even think about getting your reserve back when you decide to only rebill with them and move everything to another biller.
The number of people IBill has fucked over is growing daily.

I had iBill for 3 years, they pay on time, forget the support though, plus you always have to change something on your page, change this, change that or payments will stop
![]() I cancelled my account with them and use Verotel now, support has live help-chat and they in Europe ![]()

Ibill is the BEST... If you like shoddy customer service, A management interface that is constantly broken, innacurate,. No extra's like cancel discounts, custom order forms or any of the things ccbill or jettis provides. oh and The whole top management was fired abount a year ago and the shareholders of the company that bought them are SUING ibill for missrepresentation because they lied about thier percentage of adult transactions and lost over 50% of their customers with the visa fiasco and there shoddy handling of it.. If you question anything ibill's response is to turn you into "compliance" . Completly unprofessional staff. Customer service reps can't do anything. they always open a ticket which oddly never gets solved. Accounting's email just plain ignores any questions. Uhm according to thier staff webconference just before the new mastercard rules they were over the threshhold and have been for awhile. So now either they will have to scrub better or risk having all mastercard rebills taken away for a year. Sales are way down. They actually raised their rates after the visa thing even though they now provide less service. When worldcom went down they fucked everyone out of thier 900 number money.. I was threatend to have my account terminated for banned words.. turns out they were looking at a different site not even remotly resembling mine. incompetence. most people jumped ship a long time ago. but yes they do pay ontime every time if you have direct deposit. so thats a plus...
just check all the board messages on these guys 95% of complaints.. unlucky for you , you seem to have gotten a rosy bunch that likes them. or there using a different ibill then the rest of us. good luck |

Well I didn't break their terms that my sites where operated under for 5 years but I indeed broke the terms after they changed it and gave a 24 hour compliance notice with me being out of town. Enough said about the professialism of IBill as CCBill still bills for the sites.
