I set one goal this year to read one book a month. So far I am right on track.

About to finish Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Last month I read The Gathering Dark by Christopher Golden. June was Angels and Demons by Doug brown.

All good books.

Next month will be Timeline by Michael Crichton

The Surgeon from Tess Gerritsen, one of the best thrillers that I have read in many years and I read a lot.

Scary shit, it gets you from page one and it will be almost impossible to put down.

George R.R. Martin's A Storm of Swords - book 3 in a Song of Ice and Fire series. Awesome.

I also concurrently re-read Tolkien's Return of the King to freshen up for the movie.

Currently: Orson Scott Card's Shadow Puppets. While a decent parallel sequel, it's still weak compared to Ender's Game.

Excellent series.. Anne Rice is Awesome. I also really loved "Servent of the Bones" by her. If you haven't read it, do so.. It's a refreshing change from vampires and the mayfair witches

Great series, although the quality seems to decrease a slight bit with each book. Also, I'm afraid he might die before finishing the series
