George R.R. Martin's A Storm of Swords - book 3 in a Song of Ice and Fire series. Awesome.

I also concurrently re-read Tolkien's Return of the King to freshen up for the movie.

Currently: Orson Scott Card's Shadow Puppets. While a decent parallel sequel, it's still weak compared to Ender's Game.

SilverTab 08-28-2003 06:05 PM

Dragons of a fallen sun by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, from the dragonlance serie...(I read at least 100 books from that serie....i'm an addict...)

Excellent series.. Anne Rice is Awesome. I also really loved "Servent of the Bones" by her. If you haven't read it, do so.. It's a refreshing change from vampires and the mayfair witches :)

Great series, although the quality seems to decrease a slight bit with each book. Also, I'm afraid he might die before finishing the series :helpme

I like the "Cat Who..." series by Lillian Jackson Braun as well. :glugglug
