It was typical Hollywood formulaic bullshit.

Even the effects were second rate. I lost count of the amount of dodgy matte paintings I could spot.

It's a cinematic Big Mac 'n' fries. Instantly forgettable.

I never liked Johhny Depp. I saw a preview for a movie of his that just really turned me off.

That having been said...I think he did an awesome job in Pirates, and I think it is a great movie.
