Was it said so in the contest rules? I think the contest regarded the 2 millionth post on GFY. Nowhere was it specified that it regarded only the "Fucking Around & Program Discussion" forum. So stop whining and step on it.

I believe the last contest was about the 1 millionth post on GFY. This one is about the 2 millionth. I don't think the last one was restricted to any specific forum, why should this one be?

I did pay attention to previous contests. Rules are rules, that one wasn't included in the initial rules, it was a later addition. Plus, the deadline of the guessing has nothing to do with when the actual post would be made, we've all seen how fast posts have been accumulating since the contest was announced.
