Home networking questions....
I have my PC and laptop connected through my cable connection with a linksys wireless hub. I haven't figured out how so set up a network so I can print from either computer with the printer that is hooked to the PC. It would also be nice to access one computers drive from the other computer.
Isn't this possible somehow? I've tried to use the windows networking tools as well as the linksys software but I just can't seem to get everything working ![]()

couple of things you gotta make sure:
make sure in your connections properties you have: - Client for microsoft networks - File and printer sharing for microsoft networks 2. make sure you are in the same workgroup (I dont know what your OS is, varies from one to the other) 3. right click on your printer on the computer you have it hooked up to, then go to sharing, enable it. 4. from your other computer, go to my network places, entire network, workgroup_name , computer_name , right click on the printer and click connect or something like that... then you're set ![]()
