That's a sharp watch but I'd expect a better brand name than Oakley for 25k.

Gold is very problematic, it's inherent nature as a soft metal means that the higher the carat count, the less durable it is -- the 'carat' determination of gold is the percentage of 24k gold that is in the final mix -- ie 18l is 75% gold, 14k is 59% gold -- the mix of other metals in the finished product is what makes it wearable.

Platinum is a much more durable metal than gold, much more dense as well, but the cost of a platinum watch is generally in the 50k+ range and up for a nice mans watch.

Don't worry, $25,ooo is just suggested retail.

You can get it for less if you pay cash.

Yes, that's my hand, yes that's my watch. Yes I paid cash.

Very nice. First time I've seen it on someone's wrist.

I love that watch. I don't honestly think $25k is too expensive for an all gold Oakley watch. Oh, and that's been up on their website for like 2yrs now.. so it's not really new.

It's eye catching, it looks like a fucking superhero powerband. One time in the Vegas airport some woman grabbed me by the wrist as I walked past and was like 'Where did you GET that!?!'

KK.......... its the Movement that makes a watch..... not what it is made out of. The case and the decor is just a small part of a High Grade watch. For the money they are asking for this piece of shit, you can buy a Patek Philippe Triple date Moon Phase. This watch will hold its value over the years, and it may even appreciate

That is what people who can't afford nice toys like to think to make themselves feel better about themselves.

I only buy things I can well afford.

Sweetheart, I love watches. I simply adore them. Raymond Weil, Blancpain, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Audemars Piguet, Bruguet, Ebel, you name it.

However the price tag on a watch is what the market will bear ;)

I seriously doubt that Oakley makes the movement for this watch -- much like Movada makes the movement for (or used to) the Coach and Gucci lines...

Hey, speaking of watches, I'd love a set of the Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso Four Seasons for my birthday lol!!!!

True, Wendy from my site has a diamond encrusted Rolex worth over $15000 US and it is fucking ugly, and a total waste of money. Some people have so much money they start wasting it on some pretty useless shit.
