Hi,

We are preparing the launch of our partnership program for Zarnia.com and I'm looking for a little feedback from the experienced TGP webmasters out there.

What do you think about this gallery?

We tried to make it seem like a logical extension of the target site. Not sure if it's the most beneficial/productive choice of strategies or not.

Do you think I should split up the table on the right and put a call to action statement in the middle of the pics for those who only focus on the right hand side of the page?

Your gallery is Ok, the Ctrl will be nice but you should give your webmasters a lot of different templates to choose from.

My personal experience says, you wouldn't get it posted anywhere, TGP's would not accept a gallery like that, main reasons being:
1: "Return to" is always a no no ...
2: To many outgoing links ...
3: A TGP gallery should be built around the content, it is supposed to reflect whats on your site, why hide it ...

Sparky, yes, your points are valid, however, I wonder if the criteria you mentioned apply to 'hosted galleries' as well since the tgp webmaster benefits from them.

The suref will blow right past all that crap on the left...I cannot recall a single thing that was contained within that left side.

Place text and calls to action close to the pics, animate it, make it yellow, do something so that it is ingested with the pics.

Remember the purpose of a thumbnail on a gallery is not to link to a pic, it is not to fullfil the requirements of a tgp, it is there only to lead the eyes around a page.

Build your template from scratch with that in mind...then place your message and your purpose accordingly.

Your page is too pretty, you're designing like a designer...design like a vacuum salesman, "your job sucks, do it right the first time so you don't have to do it again".

That is all young padiwan.

I find this comment the most intriguing:

I think that's something that alot of us forget from time to time when building sales tools. It's not always about the ongoing relationship you hope to build with that surfer. It's the impulse we want to tap.

This is a hosted gallery so it does not matter how many out links or return to links you have. The tgp owner is the one thats going to list it on his site.

I would center it and drop all that little drawn out informative text on the left and replace it with larger more enticing text links.
