Host File, fucking websites!
whats the directory of the host file that redirects the ips and bullshit and what do i have to delete to fix that, its driving me nuts...... also is there anyway to prevent this from happening in the future?

Start Button > Search > For files or folders > Type in "hosts" (without quotes) > Look in "C" > click on "Search now"
When you find it , right-click and select "open with" and select "notepad"

in win98 and me and 95 and shit is just in the windows dir
i think on xp and 2k its \windows directory\system32\drivers\etc forgot where it is on nt4 |

On windows systems this file is often located in
c:\windows\hosts c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. |
