I was watching Jay Lenno and something on the TV said turn to Channel 3.

We turn to Channel 3 and it says something like

"Civil Authority Warning has been Issued to Los Angeles"

WTF that mean? Nukes on the way?

I don't know what that means, but I just picked up my wife from LAX, and security was unreal. They were searching the cars going into the parking garages again. Took me about an hour just to park.

Civil Authority Warning (Feb. 6, 2003)
UWTV has received numerous inquiries regarding an AT&T screen crawl on February 6, 2003, at approximately 3:30 p.m. PT, for a duration of about one hour. The text instructed viewers to tune to channel 27 (UWTV) to receive further instructions. Evidently, an error occurred on the part of AT&T Cable Systems, which prompted the message. There was no emergency.

AT&T controls these messages, and UWTV does not have the ability to override them in the event of an actual emergency. Please contact AT&T Cable Systems directly if you have further questions about emergency messages as UWTV does not have any additional information or prior notification of them.

There is a police Helio pad right by Fry's Electronics over here, I seen one land once and it was pretty close and they got mad shit in there I must say.
