I previously worked at this company with is now defunct. I would like to retain the domain name so that professional contacts trying to find me can do so. Please advise.

i just didnt want to write domain.com because everybody else would be saying... hey.. you own domain.com hahah

its a technology firms company domain
useless for me and everyone else expect the original owner

i just wanna know how much the original owner might be willing to invest to get it back...
