Changing over from ACPay.
After ACPay went down, I changed over to 2000Charge cause thats one of the processors ACPay said they can move all my pending sales to... After signing up, I get this shit:
We are not able to import any of your existing customers from ACPay. Those customers must sign up again with 2000Charge. We are not allowed to import any customers, ACPay gave you the wrong information. Now... does that SUCK or DOES THAT SUCK! |

Makes sense though. If customers suddenly start seeing "XYZ company" instead of "ACPAY" on their CC bill, they'll start asking questions. Even if you email your members, some of them will miss that, or will be too thick to understand. There are probably also privacy law implications too.
(then again, if ACPAY became EGSPAY, what would have happened to the wording of the descriptor...?) |

Yeah, I understand that, but then why does ACPay go along saying shit like this:
All new transactions that have been placed in pending status (none of which have been processed) since July 9, 2003 will be transferred, upon your request, to your new processor. |

They told you that you could initially and then that you couldn't after registering with them? Wow.
Are you using your own merchant account? |

So basicaly what ACPay did, was give people (over 100 people) FREE access to my high bandwidth paysite for over a month, knowing that they would never charge them, and knowing that they wouldn't be able to transfer them over to my next processor...

Has anyone here changed over from ACPay to another processor and had their pending sales carried over?
