I used ATT for ever because TDMA technology is thebest in my opinion, PCS sucks ass, I used it for a while and gave up. You go out of range in your own town.

Go with Singular, they have killer coverage and roll over minutes

love sprint pcs, been with them for years. they have poor customer service at times, but they have awesome signal. when they came out they were 20x better than anything else, and they've stayed competitive in the signal market.

not really had a problem with signal loss much, but their new phones are much better with signals.

their big point, esp. when they came out was the whole free long distance and no roaming. 'course, now everyone has that so it's not such a big deal...

Since he said "Hosting Specialists" I assume he means Sprint IP (T1, ethernet, whatever).

Can't say anything bad about Sprint, except the price. Availability may be a concern as well if you're in a carrier hotel, as they don't seem to be quite as widely deployed as other more "common" carriers.

On a technical side the only thing I can fault them for is their peering policies. But, really any large carrier now has followed suit, it was just them that started the retardedness.

You'll be happy with the most likely.

Sprint is ENTIRELY based on what area of the country you are in. The entire west coast is all good, and according to Iroc, so is midwest... and I can personally vouce for texas too.

However - if you live on the east coast (i used to) the service there totally sucks. Too many people with too few towers. At least this is true in NYC, upstate ny, all of PA. Signal loss, etc.

I still have sprint but now that im on the west coast I've only had like 1 signal drop in the past 9 months and I am on the phone a good 2000+ minutes a month (all long distance calls, he he).

Customer service used to suck big time but now the wait times seem to be very short even in the middle of the day, but you still often get angry black bitches "helping" you.

If I had to start new service I'd go with tmobile but sprint gave me a retention plan deal that is killer so I'll be with them for a long while still...

Hope that helps

Trax,

We do not use Sprint. We dropped Cogent and added in Allegiance. The problem some people are still having periodically is due to peering issues that are still being worked on with Sprint, mostly a few places back east still.

If you are still having problems please continue to send in your Traces to us so we can get any lingering issues resolved. Same goes for anyone else, If we don't hear from you directly at [email protected] we can't get them to fix the problem for the few places still seeing this.

Regards,
Matt

Yes, sprint pipe is good. It's expensive but should give you a good level of quality performance.
