Immigrating to Canada
Anyone recently immigrate to Canada ?
Is there some tips to make it easier? I understand a formal job offer has to be made in canada first and if no candiates are qualified for 3 months of the offer been released then you can hire someone abroad. What if you are allready working with someone abroad for year and want them to immigrate to Canada? Need some tips/advise |

Bring warm clothes, a snow shovel, and a beer mug.

If you're from the states I think you can just go up and stay there for 3 months at a time. You have to bring bank statements to show you have money and won't be dependant on the canadian govt to support you.

And for jobs...
You could get one right now and not wait the 3 months... But the company that hires you has to prove that no canadians posses your skills to do the job.... |

Would depend if you're looking to acquire landed immigrant status or not. If you have the documents that confirm this person was already an associate or employee, then you can simply "transfer" him/her to your "Canadian" offices and eventually apply for landed immigrant status.
The fact that he already has worked with you for a year should be a plus in your favor. |

They make all new immigrants watch Strange Brew to understand the culture.
