hosting experts please help
If you have a dedicated server with two domains hosted on it, how can one website load fine but the other is down. I contacted tech support but it's been like 3 hours and it is still down. Can anyone explain how that is possible?

Can you ping the site that is down? Does it resolve? What happens when you go to it?

If you want, just post your un/pass to your server and I'll take a whirl through it.

Ok I pinged the sites.
The domain that is down says: Request timed out: The domain that is up replies fine. But how can one site be down and the other up when it is one the same server? Thanks for any info. |

Sounds like DNS hasn't been set up for the site that is down. ![]()

It is either Apache not set up properly, or DNS. If it was working this morning, and nobody touched anything, it is more than likely a DNS issue. Tell them to look at your zones, and restart named. ![]()
