What kind of digital picture camera should I buy?
Ok, I have boy/girl hardcore shoots scheduled for the next three Fridays. Finally it's taking off. One of the ladies got her period so I couldnt do the shoot. Another one finally turned 18! As you know I have the GL2 for video and I love it. Currently I used a Kodak 1.7 mega pixel digital still cam for the photos. Now I want to spend some good money on a digital still camera for web content use. What is your opinion? ps. my GFY long sleeve is looking mint. |

				 | Best available now for a decent price is the Canon 10d for 1500 bucks. Nothing in that price area will beat it. even 2k + cams wont beat it. |

Remember a camera is only as good as the lens you put onto it. Nikon have better colour management than Canom IMHO I use Canon for film, Nikon for digital. Paul | |

It's what I use, and I like it. However, the main thing is to realize that the demands of the WWW are not great. A 6 megapixel camera is laughable overkill. In fact, I have a D100 only because one of my clients put some demands on me that my prior Olympus C-4040 couldn't fulfill. So, I have a camera that CAN shoot at 6 megapixels, but my actual everyday shots are at around 2 megapixels. Go figure. Save money on your camera and spend it on lighting. Lighting will make a much bigger difference in the quality of your pics than your camera ever will.
