    Under Georgia law, any person, no matter how old, can be found guilty of a misdemeanor when he or she has sexual intercourse with another person outside wedlock.

At least in some cities down here you can get alcohol at a bar or restaraunt on Sundays, just not from the store. Unfortunately, in the city where I live, you can't buy it ANYWHERE on Sunday.

                                                                                  As far as the next Atlanta gathering, there should be one for September. I think the August one got put aside because of Internext. I'm hoping to convince "the men" to have the next one on a Saturday rather than Sunday. I'd love to be able to let it run into the evening, stay out late and party. Hell, that's my one "outing" a month. Gotta make the most of it.

They're real laws that have fallen into disuse because they are no longer applicable.

                                                                                                                                                                              There is a real reason why laws like this stay on the books. The sodomy laws in particular come in handy in rape and child molestation cases. On CNN today they had an article about some nun that was raped and strangled with her rosary. Since sodomy is illegal there, it gives the cops one more thing to charge this prick with.

                                                                                                                                                                              These laws are sort of "fall back" laws too. There are times when they can't get a rape conviction but a sodomy charge will stick so at least they can get a conviction of some sort.
