Let's go Funky dead on it, wow See, the rapper's problem usually stem from being tone deaf Pack the house then try 2 sing, there won't be no one left On it Parking lots on fire, brothers peelin' outta town They say in disgust, been singin' their guts Rappin' done let us down (down, down) We got 2 be dead on it Dead on it (Dead) All the sisters like it when U lick 'em on the knees Don't believe me? I don't really like rap alot, but there are a few songs I like, and I love just about anything by Eminem. (Yeah, I know some people hate him, but I think he's brilliant and extremely talented even if he doesn't have that much in the looks department.)
I also like: Cusswords - Too $hort Drop The Bass - DJ Magic Mike Anything by Sir Mix-Alot, Cypress Hill (not really rap, but close) and some of Snoop Dogg's stuff. And sadly I will admit, I like anything by the Fat Boys (especially Wipout, LMAO!), The Beastie Boys and Egyptian Lover. I guess I'm not into much of the hardcore gangsta rap type stuff. Mostly the more lighthearted stuff. |

The track that powered all the original rap
James Brown's funky drummer James Brown's music built not only the foundation of today's rap scene, but, also the front door and the kitchen floor of the house that rap lives in. It all flows from James...... |
