The excitement about this game just keeps building. AVN will be at the game and documenting the entire event.
This is the first ever Poker tournament, I think it couldnt have come at a better time. I am brushing up on my Hold em skills right now, loosing money playing online, but still brushing up for a big win come Internext. Bring it on!!! |

4. dream up new names for prop bets. instead of betting $5 on the aces, yell out "$5 nipples up" and give the dealer a knowing wink.

Jesus. I thought the big boys would be all over this. Maybe it's not enough money??
Zero entry fee for the chance at winning $1500. May I be the first to suggest a $100 entry fee. ALL to the winner. Hmm. On top of the $1500 I'd already win, I'd collect another $8900. |

Many of the big boys are already signed up as we have contacted half the players ahead of time and half the spots are open to everyone else. |

If the pot is only 2,500 and there are 90 players total.. does that meen that each player only puts in $27?

One more time for the people that havent quite got it yet. There is no entry fee, we cannot charge an entry fee or else it will be illegal. All you have to do is RSVP to Bosshawg or Platinum Dave. Even if you dont know how to play poker come mingle with the crowd and drink from the open bar

Thanks for finally making this happen! Hopefully it'll work out real well so we can have a real money tournament in Las Vegas.
Is Florida really a state where playing Poker with money is illegal? I figured they'd follow Texas, California, and other states to legalize it. |

bosshawg,
they KILL people in Florida for that FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida ?Feb. 7, 2001 ? As reported by the Associated Press: ?The founder of the Miami Subs Grill restaurant chain and SunCruz gambling-cruise operation was shot and killed in his car, police said. ?Gus Boulis, 51, was driving on an isolated road Tuesday night when a car pulled in front of his and stopped, Fort Lauderdale police Detective Mike Reed said. Another car then pulled up alongside Boulis' car. ?One of the two men inside the second car fired at Boulis, and the two cars fled. Boulis, shot multiple times, managed to drive onto a busy street before crashing into a tree. ??The Greek-born Boulis, one of South Florida's richest and most powerful businessmen, started SunCruz in 1994 and made it into the state's largest casino ship business. ?He was forced to sell the company last year and pay a $500,000 fine because he owned it without being a U.S. citizen, which is illegal?? |
