Funny. He still hasn't paid at least one (that i know of) designer for the work he did for Paysite Design over a YEAR ago. And the sites he worked on are the best in the portfolio.

Even when the designers do get paid, he's still ripping them off. You know how much of a cut he takes when he brokers designs? The work my friend did for him. He only got a 50% cut. So, what does Hungryman actually do to deserve 1000 US dollars out of 2000 US dollars worth of work? Someone comes up to him, and says "hey, i need a site done.. how much?"

Hungry man quotes him 2 grand, and pawns the job off onto a <i>real</i> designer (you know, one that has actually used photoshop before). Hungryman takes a 50% cut and gives the designer 50%. Oh wait, no he doesn't, he just takes 100%.

I haven't dignified this situation with public discourse let alone ask for things to be removed. Frankly, I am embarrased for it to have occured - to have been taken by someone for a grand or whatever. Too petty to get riled over.. but enough to judge the character of the debtor.
I am much more concerned with the money owed to other people than myself, as shown by the fact that we haven't spoken in six or seven months, and I only ever asked to be paid once. The work I did with you was to shore up a few design contacts and diversify a little with my own design company while I worked on personal projects. I haven't even invoiced a few other clients from months ago, although it's only a few hundred here and there, I run sites now.. not a design shop.

It's the principle. You can ignore comments and feign your way through this industry with light humour and hope that people forget enough to tolerate you or retreat to pornojunkies as a safehaven.
But until you have paid your debts you can never again have any credibility, or even a voice that holds any weight. You can never get on a soapbox or a high horse you can only slink around talking about how things are really, really actually, kinda, possibly being taken care of.
