In the first Terminator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger (the terminator) is sent back in time by the machines to kill Sarah so John is never born.

In the 2nd movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger (the terminator) is sent back in time by the humans to protect John from the new terminator that the machines have sent back.

Why is Arnold Schwarzenegger now working for the humans in the 2nd movie? How did that happen?

what? u guys got it all wrong, in the first one, john sends it back in time to protect himself, and in the second one, the girl programmed the terminator to come back and protect them, that's why the terminator wasn't taking orders from john

What? In the first one the terminator's mission is to KILL Sarah Connor

And the whole way they displayed time travel and paradox's was such bullshit.

In terminator 2 it was the first terminator coming back in time that allowed the scientists to develop the machines to build the terminators. like the chicken before the egg thing but even worse. T3 should be good, it better not be a thrown together copy of T2 which it could be.

What I never understood was why they don't send 'em back with those big ass guns they were toting in the future. Also, why they don't send back like a dozen of em. They were being manufactured at a high rate it seemed. It was always one.

They could only send "humanoids" (hence being naked) and it was a VERY difficult process, hence just the one robot.

Dont look to closely at the Terminator stories.... its for your own good...

well if you look at it this way, skynet was going to develop the terminators no matter what, but when they got the samples from t1 it speed up the process.

TO FUCK WITH YOUR HEAD AND THE WHOLE SPACE-TIME THEORY BS:

How could miles or whateve the black dudes name is be the one to create the terminator for skynet if it hadn't been developed yet only studied BUT since they had obtained the samples that would thus change the future meaning he was the one who did it anyways.

So in short, they fucked up the whole past creating a new future. Which funny enough is what each movie plot is based on trying to do by killing people.

In Terminator 1 Sarrah Connor didn't have the luxury of having a metal killing machine to protect her. Instead she just got regular human...

You got 2 mixed up with 1 and 2 mixed up with 3.

The reason why John didn't send the Terminator back himself is becasue he's dead. The very Terminator that finally killed John in the future is the one that protects him in the past.

T3 is one of the gayest movies i seen this year, i am not much of
a movie fan but the one thing that had me was when he was just
born in T3 and goes to the male strip join to look for some gear,
and the dancer matched his size..

Do you remember who Jonh Connors father is?
It's the guy that John Connor sent back to guard his own mother!
So, if that guy was sent back in time, BY John Connors, then originally John Connors father must have been someone else!
And if that guy (who was sent back in time by John Connors) impregnated Sara, then John Connor would have been someone totally different!!!

Now you can talk about the chicken before the egg!!

Remember when they reached that bunker, and John already set the denimite to ON, and then he says "There is no way I can stop this"
About 5 min in that bunker, he just clips a switch and it switches off..
now wtf is that for a 10M+ movie?

To make it realistic, they could have made the father someone else! And he Should have been protecting an already pregnant woman. It shouldnðt be an exuse that it's a movie, just means the script is bad!

It's like Minority Report, good movie, but fucked up in the end with a tiny little detail

Don't you see, it is like someone to day would send sombody kill Ghandi's mother, and some one else would send someone to protect her, because Ghandi was a great man. Now lets say the guy that is supposed to protect her, get's her pregnant, then he would be changing Ghandi, and the whole future, then ghandi might not have been such a great man. And there would have been no reason to send someone to protect him in the first place!

It's a circle that can not be closed! Maybe He became a great man because of hs father from the future, but if he wasn't a great man before the father came to the past, why would they send someone to protect him?
