The US has not even ratified the Human Rights Treaty - but rest assured, is the "leader" in protecting the human rights of others - example Iran!

I have a friend in the US who interviewed three children in the US who were sentenced to death. Course none were executed until they reached adulthood - big fucking deal!

The US does as all countries do...it does what it percieves to be in its best interest...no more...no less...and has the economic and military power to do so...to the envy of many countries around the world. Considering the US is one that actually was involved in the instigation of the Human Rights Treaty, you would expect that it would actually sign the Treaty....

BUT....

The same applies to the ICC... again it was a party that instigated the idea of the ICC... but again, that was all talk!
