Cradle Of Filth the bastard children of Exciter?

So, I'm listening to the metal station on Netscape Radio and the Cradle of Filth song "The Twisted nails Of Flesh" comes on and the scream he uses is almost the same exact scream as the vocalist from Exciter uses on the song "Long Live The Loud"

hmmm, so is COF the bastard children of Exciter or do I listen to way too much metal and it's starting to blend together??

I like it too, it was just odd...I'd never hear that particular COF song and when he started singing, i thought it was Exciter until I looked at the player....

not knocking it, just weird how you sometimes pick up things like that....
