Here is one of five basic rules posted on that page ...

"Rule 2: Don't Compete With the Source You're Copying From

Without consent, you ordinarily cannot use another person's protected expression in a way that impairs (or even potentially impairs) the market for his or her work. Thus, if you want to use an author's protected expression in a work of your own that is similar to the prior work and aimed at the same market, your intended use isn't likely a fair use."

So it appears - if I am in the "adult business" AND quote the expressions of the "adult business" - which could interfer anothers websites "potential market" then "fair use" WOULD NOT apply.

It appears - that I may have to make a decision - to GET OUT of the adult business - if I wish to discuss the adult business.
You guys may get your wish afterall... : )

I have not decided yet - what the new business model of SexEducation.com will be.

Somehow - I have to make the website self supporting.
And I have not been able to do that for many years.
And I have tried many many ways ...

Got to get ready for work.
Have a great day everyone.

Dad@

PS: I love this UBB - if I had the bucks I would install one on SexEducation.ORG or create a board.SexEducation.com or something.

So now you're admitting to being in the adult industry and trying to show hardcore porn to kids?

Why do you spout such utter crap when you have broken every law in the book??

Who give a shit about your "business model" - I understand from others that aspect of your life is equally as perverse as your "philosophy" in "sex education" - especially with children.

SexEducation.com is an adult website of alternative intercourse/discussions where more modern Parents can choose from hundreds of articles which discuss sex.

Yes - Parents have children.
Yes - children have questions about sex.

Yes - SexEducation.com discusses in an adult manner - questions posed by those less then legal age.

I am referring to a business model of opening up SexEducation.com ... and then advertising my other websites like AdultSexTechniques.com. My current thinking is - this may not be possible if I wish to continue discussing the adult industry - which I have not decided either.

Your current thinking is that of a CHILD MOLESTER.. before you think that you may be important in some way, know this - it ain't a good idea to be either involved in the adult biz or in *any* discussion about "sex education" with children or parents.

You have no qualification!!! DUH?

Now.. once again ....:321GFY

FUCKING GO

I understand your desire.

However ... If I am "in the business" then the quotation of content (text or graphics or other) is severely limited.

So you actually want me "in the business" because in a sense it "silences" me from using graphics as illustrations of what I am discussing about the adult industry.

It's interesting stuff really ...

I haven't decided yet what I am going to do except for doing more research.

children = those who are not yet reproductively capable

teen/adolescent = those who are capable of reproduction but not yet of "legal age"

There is nothing on my website for "children".

There is some content on my website that a Parent Adult (IMO) should allow their teen to access. For example; the article titled "Let Teens Have Sex" teaches abstinence.

Do not pretend you know me - because you do not.

And some website building - I want to do.

That's why you have a button to your Sexeducation site on www.horseforum.com, where kids (who take riding lessons) post, right? So you can assail them with Swoit advertising and content? Very smart.

I can not keep up to multiple threads ...
I try to reply to the ones I start ... and the master thread SexEducation.com which started all this mess.

What thread are you referring to?

You're grasping at straws ...
You're still on a witch hunt ...
and this post has NOTHING to do with the topic thread ...

Is this a discussion group where discussions take place or what?
From now on your fluff and fodder comments will be replied to in the thread "SexEducation.com" ...

This thread is a discussion on "Fair Use" .. which you in part taught me about..

Holly 07-14-2003 04:44 PM

Oh sorry, Dad. I didn't see your post. I was wishing a big congrats about the wedding last December in the guest book. Too bad about everything getting canceled this year, though. :(

sexeducation 07-14-2003 04:50 PM

The way I am reading things about "fair use" is that one of the major criteria is if you profit from the inclusion of someone elses graphics on your website.

So ... my previous "file server" which was programmed to block specific videos and graphics from showing in articles - which Parents found inappropriate for the "maturity" level of their teens - could be construed to be a "gallery" ... but to me it was a "content filter" ...

However, I am thinking that if I screen captured - and included the entire web browser screen - which also - included the graphic I am discussing/critiquing or making comments about - this would raise my "fair use" of graphics contained on other websites.

In a sense, that would be like a photographer taking a picture of a monitor ...

I am getting a handle on this rather quickly ...
What you don't know - is I am a quick study.

I just want to point out - that I have NOT decided yet what I am going to do ....

This is just a discussion of "fair use" and how an online magazine critiquing the adult industry can be done ...
IMO

Wow, I just noticed you talking about twins in this thread. I've always thought it would be neat to have twin girls, or to have a twin sister. Don't you think that would be cool, Dad?

This is a discussion group - this is a discussion.

I am showing publicly how SexEducation.com is evolving and the things I learned from this group.

Why do I need a lawyer if I have no graphics - NONE?

That doesn't matter.. It's adult oriented material (SWOIT is an ADULT website and they DO NOT WANT TO BE ACCESSED BY CHILDREN). Your forum is one that young girls would likely frequent. Having a link to a website that outlinks to an adult website is misleading, and believe me, Swoit HAS been informed. It's up to them to do something about it now.

Bumping this thread for REVIEW :

Notice the accusations :

Child porn <-- accusation

Reply from sexeducation: I removed all pictures from my site.

Question: Does this include the banners that are on other sites like http://horseforums.com the banner at the bottom ... how old is the girl in that picture? Is she old enough to be on a banner that leads directly to an adult website ?

Do you know it is illegal to link to an adult website using a kids picture ? That is considered child porn.

seeing as the image is on the same website there is conclusive proof of the child porn:

http://www.sexeducation.com/private/...reebanners.jpg

Banner^

site: sexeducation.com <--- notice the swoit logins all over the place.

How much law do you need to see this is illegal .... do you have model releases for that girl? can you prove she is over 18?

btw this is just the beginning of what can be a very long night.
