Picture this....

4 guys sitting around a computer right now reading this and saying...

"Ummm I think we fucked up again"

"Shut up Frank *thwap* - let me aim the bot this time"

"Go go go gadget reply bot"

"Oh shit the boss is coming..."

Everyone scatters out the boss's office...

"Hmmm crazy kids - were they messing around with my computer again? What is this gofuckyourself site on my pc? Hmmm"

Picks up phone...

"Hi Mary, can you get Zach in tech support to come here - there is a virus on my computer I think"

Click...

"ha ha gofuckyourself... nice name... I wonder what they do..."

The End

when we were working on a paysite a year ago, i talked to a sales rep at ibill. she told me that only sites making over $50,000 per month get their own rep. shit, ccbill gives you a rep at any size account, and at epoch, you sort of keep your sales rep.

then the sales person tried to get me to sell penis pills for one of their programs. i said we weren't interested and she sent me some spams.

neither of these two things seem to me like a good way to do business.

and i've certainly seen their stats down a lot more than the average bear, among many other problems.

I only mention this as a possible explanation about some of the problems that people have experienced with IBill.

I think you're dealing with a company that's not sure whether or not they want to be in the adult biz.
Wrong!!!!. Ibill have had these problems with their CMI and shitty customer service for at least the last 5 years that i have had accounts with them. It will never be Ibill decision to pull out of the adult business it will be ours the webmasters. Webmasters that work their fucking butts off to make Ibill their % only to get fucked over by them time and time again. Soon most webmasters will make the correct informed decision and leave this sinking ship . Epoch and CCbill are the only way forward and this has been proved to me many, many times by the simple fact that IBill doesn't give a flying fuck about you, they only care about their %.

hm.. the only thing I agree with is their reserve policy.

You pretty much never get your reserve back with Epoch... 18 months after your last transaction.. What a joke..

but anyway, all 3rd party processors are a fucking rip off once you're doing over $50,000 month gross (typical minimum to get yuor own)

iBill would like to address the recent postings on the boards and share with you our position. We believe these posts are misleading and are designed to alarm our clients. Furthermore, we feel these comments and ?revised business rules? are the result of our competitor?s attempt to introduce a rather aggressive marketing program directed at our largest clients. At this time, iBill is working with our legal counsel to review the recent policies another billing provider has introduced into the competitive landscape to determine what, if any, actions iBill will pursue.

We believe that you should think through carefully and diligently any decision you make regarding your choice in billing providers. Your decision should be based on the billing provider?s past financial performance related to payouts, how they handle your reserves, and their future viability given the competitive marketplace. We would also urge you to consider the relationships the billing provider has with card associations, since they have been responsible for many of the recent changes in this industry. At iBill, we continue to maintain an excellent relationship with the card associations and have proactively worked with the associations in our clients? best interests.

As you know, we are part of a public company, which gives our clients access to audited financial information that allows you to understand our financial stability. We have a market cap of more than $200MM, and this provides a certain level of financial strength that many other billing providers cannot match. The recent action by one of our competitors might suggest they need more drastic methods of attracting customers.

iBill has earned a strong reputation for paying our clients and releasing our clients? reserves on time. We believe these are important considerations in your selection of a billing provider. If a competitor cannot make the same claim, you should carefully consider how much of your business you consider safe with them.

We are making considerable progress in managing our chargebacks. In fact, to date in July we are comfortably in compliance with the chargeback rules of Visa and MasterCard. We would therefore urge you to carefully evaluate a customer acquisition strategy that is based on the contention that iBill?s chargeback ?problem? has the potential to drag down an entire portfolio.

We plan to announce our solution to the MasterCard compliance program next week. Our solution will allow our customers to continue to enjoy the value of the MasterCard brand and its payment instruments and is the result of a very intensive effort of cooperative negotiating with MasterCard.

Thank you.

iBill
Pay on time? I have waited 5 months for my last reserve payment. I e-mail, get a response saying sorry...we will look into it..then nothing. Send another e-mail and same thing.

iBill used to be good on payments....now they suck.

I wasn't trying to defend IBill.

Just share some of the information I learned from the conference call.

The only advantage I see in using IBill is that they are probably the only processor with deep enough pockets to survive with Visa/MC crisis, if it continues to get worse and cost processors a lot of money.

But, in light of the other problems, that may not be much of an advantage.

... thatīs not true, ibill rocks, they are for sure the industrie leaders. here are the five major points why you should choose ibill:

#1: account setup is done in less than 6 month.
#2: email support requests get answered within 3 month.
#3: you can speak to a sales rep by phone. (after less than 160 unsucessfull call attempts)
#4: loyal ibilll emloyees will sell the members email database to almost everyone.
#5: ibill does not scub, because the system is offline most of the time.

Crazy and amazing post!

Sticking wiht CCbill... allthough I think the level ov service has dropped at CCbill in the Tech area, they still are the most stable of the bunch. We had considered Epoch very seriously, but with the recent events I don't see them as a long term players either. While they may be a good company I think they have built there house on sand. With the new Visa regs.... I think the tide is about to wash the sand out from under Epochs house.

Sticking with CBill... but god dammit guys..... Hire some techs that have a clue would ya? Both on the ccbill and cavecreek side... as much as your BW is... you should have Einstein working there.

iBill has earned a strong reputation for paying our clients and releasing our clients? reserves on time. We believe these are important considerations in your selection of a billing provider. If a competitor cannot make the same claim, you should carefully consider how much of your business you consider safe with them.
I want to know who these clients are! I am not one of them! You fucking theives still have my money! If ibill paid everyone they owed money to, there would be no more ibill.

So, it's some competitor's fault that signups disappear, the CMI is up and down like a seesaw, web900 money doesn't get paid out when there's a wrinkle on your end, people got double and triple billed for the Visa fee, checks don't get sent, wires don't go through, reserves never make it to webmasters and about 10,000 other problems people have had with IBill in the last year?
