I bought a really nice JVC DV camera off there. It cost 900 dollars. Works like a charm

I've bought at least 10 camera off ebay, never a problem, but make sure the seller has a high positive feeback.

You should have no problem as long as the person you're buying it from has a good feedback.

good feedback doesnt always mean squat. Many of the big time ebay scammers had a lot of good feedback

I have bought a ton of gear from ebay. Most people are really cool and if things arent right they will replace it.

Just check out their sellers feedback comments.

I have bought just about everything off Ebay. No problems. Read the feedback...make sure it is a reputable company with a posted customer service phone number and address.

I've bought 2 now, dont just look at sellers feedback as a number, read a few pages and check the dollar amounts on items they've sold/bought.... Alot of them will just do 1000 stupid 50 cent transactions to build up feedback, these are the ones you have to watch otu for.

I've bought and sold countless stuff on Ebay, from around $10 to a few big ticket items, 3 motorcycles, etc.

Feedback is one thing. For small purchases ($200?) Ebay provides insurance.

I've used Escrow.com 4 times for expensive items; it rocks and if the seller says no you definitely want to stay away.

Sometimes I just ask and if they accept Escrow I figure I don't need it.
