any type 2 diabetics here?
if so do you have any recipe sites or snack idea you can suggest.
My husband was doing really well and then all of a sudden today he came back from the doctor saying things are getting worse. We have been following fairly strict (or as strict as I can get him to be..it really is hard sometimes) patterns but not it seems not to be working anymore. What type of snack/food do you carry with you incase you are out and can't stop to eat a meal at the time you are suppose to eat? |

My father does...probably gonna be in my future as well.
He carries some protein rich meal replacement bars. I can get you a link if you want...they're pretty good actually, for what they are. |

Hi Sarah, I'm a vegetarian but I have the Macrobiotics Book that's shown in the link below. I tried to do this diet but I'm a busy girl, but if you want to see results and want to help your husband through food that's going to be therapeutic and wholesome get this book. I wish I had your address cause I could actually send it to you, cause I don't read it anymore. The book is very thorough and tells you what you need for the kitchen. The book indicates that people with cancer and Diabetes have really benefited from this lifestyle. I hope it helps you. You can icq me at 172394905 if you have any questions.

My doctor stresses avoiding carbs. Some possible snacks:
Beef jerky Atkins shakes My nutritionist recommended sardines or kippers but I don't like 'em.
